Vincent J. Wiley and Deborah Romare, a dynamic writing team have combined their talents and years of experience to create 19th Day Pictures, a company that is both innovative and artistic. 


Vincent and Deborah have written many award-winning feature film screenplays and television pilots.
They created a multi award-winning short from their animated feature screenplay, Vincent the Artist.
Vincent has created hundreds of characters for their animation projects.


Vincent and Deborah published the first of 3 children’s picture books for Vincent the Artist, on sale at Amazon and other book stores worldwide.
Their first endeavor, Patients written and directed by Deborah and Vincent is a hilarious half-hour comedy pilot with an ensemble cast.

DEBORAH ROMARE

Deborah began her career as a child actress in Minneapolis, Minnesota at The Guthrie Theater in such stage productions as A Christmas Carol and The Taming of the Shrew

As a teenager, Deborah moved with her family to Los Angeles and immediately began working as an actress in feature films and television: Straight Time with Dustin Hoffman, Lepke with Tony Curtis and in various MOWs including Kate Bliss and the Ticker Tape Kid and the television series Happy Days.   

She then moved behind the camera into film editorial and was fortunate to work with such directors as Francis Ford Coppola, Caleb Deschanel and Wim Wenders while at Hollywood’s Zoetrope Studios. Deborah worked closely with Mr. Coppola and his son, Gio in the first video film-to-tape editing system on Apocalypse Now, One from the Heart, The Escape Artist and Hammett.  Deborah was as a film editor on the Emmy Award-winning television series China Beach, editing the series finale.  

Deborah met Blake Edwards while working in editorial on feature films such as Victor, Victoria, The Man Who Loved Women, and Micki and Maude. Blake mentored Deborah as a screenwriter and her first feature screenplay was optioned by Columbia Pictures.  She continued honing her craft in writing then directed her first feature film at the age of 30.

As a screenwriter, Deborah wrote and developed feature film scripts for New Star Entertainment, MGM Studios, Viacom, Universal and 20th Century Fox Studios.  

Deborah began her producing career with the Emmy Award-winning Anne Frank: The Whole Story for ABC television and at Disney and Warner Bros. where she produced numerous movie-of-the-week and pilot productions for directors Charles Herman-Wurmfeld, Rod Lurie, Robert Dornhelm and David Frankel.  

Deborah co-wrote and co-directed Patients, a television sitcom pilot with her writer/producer partner Vincent J. Wiley which led to them forming their production company, 19th Day Pictures.  

Deborah co-wrote the feature animated screenplay, Vincent the Artist which will be animated in India. The anticipated release date of the animated feature film will be fall of 2019. They created a 4-minute multi-award-winning animated short that can be viewed online here.

Their first in a series of three children's picture books is available online, at Amazon and in book stores worldwide. 

Deborah and Vincent are currently developing their animated television series Riley vs. Riley.

VINCENT WILEY

Upon his arrival to the Los Angeles area Vincent began a productive career at the age of 23, by forming his first production company, Wildrose Productions, an innovative theater company that revived classic stage shows. 

As a producer Vincent presented his first theatrical presentation of the 20th anniversary and west coast premiere of The Fantastics, one of the longest running musicals in history.   He followed that great success with other classic productions of; Godspell, Grease, The Butter and Egg Man, The Star Spangled Girl, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Diary of Anne Frank and more.

Vincent turned his focus to writing original comedy productions like Holy Toledo, Wake Up Beaver City and various other comedy-variety revues.  To pursue the art of writing he began working in the Warner Bros. Sitcom Television Story Department while simultaneously participating in the Warner Bros. writers’ workshop.

Vincent co-wrote and co-directed Patients, a television sitcom pilot with his writer/producer partner Deborah Romare which led to them forming their production company, 19th Day Pictures.

Another of Vincent’s many talents is 3-D animation. He co-wrote the feature animated screenplay, Vincent the Artist in which he developed over one-hundred hand-drawn characters for the film.  The project will be animated in India.
